Changelog For My Class Idea: Templar/paladin

    This is the change log for all of my class ideas
    This was created on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 2:30 (Eastern US Time zone)

    So on my original post, Paladin/Templar #1 idea, I reached the maximum character limit of 24400 characters (sad, I know, you guys want to read even more)
    This is NOT meant to get extra likes or views, just a way so that people can view the changes that have occurred since the creation of this class idea.

    This thread now includes changelogs for all of my classes

    Changelog for Paladin/Templar #1:

    Edit 1: Changed the values of the leap mechanic, although still needs another name. Nerfed the total heal from 25% to 20% and burst heal from 10% to 8% and increased the cost by 2 mana. The Stamina buff from leap has been changed from 40% to 30%, now lasts 2.5 seconds. Reduced the damage smite does from 3/4 of a meteor to 5/8 of a meteor, and changed the additional thunder damage at level 2 from 10% to 7.5% and at level 3 from 15% to 10%

    Edit 2: Modified the negative walk speed caused by the shield from 10-20% changed to 15-30%. Modified the passive skill from 1% hp every 2 seconds to every 3 seconds. Attempted to add picture of Armblade

    Edit 3: Started a Class by Class comparison to Templar/Paladin, Shortened the projectile range of Smite from 7.5 blocks to 5 blocks. Created new restriction for leap: cannot be used while an effect like "Leg Breaking" from Bomb Arrow is applied to the Templar (anything that prevents the player from jumping).

    Edit 4: Made it so that only one self casted speed effect is active at a time. Changed the combined IDs of Armblade and shield.

    Edit 5: Removed:
    +Stamina: Upon landing, receive +25% Movement Speed (Speed II) for 2.5 seconds. If Invigorating Aura is active when this is cast, movement speed is now 30% for 2.5 seconds and the speed effect from Invigorating Aura is cancelled.

    from Leap and replaced it with Sanctification to make it more defensive and less mobile. Also nerfed Leap a little bit from 8 blocks to 7 at level 1 and from 10 blocks to 9 blocks at level 2. Changed smite so now it is more of a melee attack than a ranged attack by changing range from 5 blocks to 4 blocks.

    Edit 6: Removed :
    Skill 2: Leap
    (Right-Right-Right)

    Jump a short distance in the direction you are facing (used to get away quickly and at later levels to run). Leap 3 blocks high and 6 blocks in the direction you face (Same velocity as escape). Cannot be used if the player is affected by a debuff which prevents the player from jumping (Leg Breaking from Bomb Arrows, Earthquake from Bash, etc.).

    Also removed it's level 2 perk:
    + Vault: Causes you to leap farther than before, making you jump 4 blocks high and 7 blocks in the direction you are facing

    and replaced it with Portal of Redemption to make it less mobile and more tanky, and to add a bit more of a strategic feel to Templar/Paladin
    Nerfed Sanctification to last from 2.5 seconds down to 2 seconds. Changed Smite to a more strategic skill by increasing the duration of the intervals and length of Scorched Soul from hit every 2 seconds for 6 seconds (3 hits) to hit every 3 seconds for 9 seconds (3 hits) and changed Torment to fit with it.
    Changed Invigorating Aura and removed
    +Adrenaline: Create a surge of energy throughout you and your allies, increasing their movement speed by 15% which lasts for 10 seconds.

    and changed it to Dominating Presence to allow for more strategic play. Also nerfed the range from 5 blocks of the caster to 4 blocks of the caster.
    Added a short section of a simple strategy with Portal of Redemption.

    Edit 7: Nerfed the damage of smite from 5/8 to 1/2 a meteor and gave scorched soul a damage reference point of 1/8 a meteor per hit

    Edit 8: Added links to other class ideas. Added aesthetics and changed the name of Portal of Redemption to Redemption. Fixed some grammar.

    Edit 9: Because of the concern over the amount of damage this class can tank, I have introduced the idea of NEGATIVE PERKS to the passive ultimate, and buffed it so it wasn't too under powered. Buff damage resist from 10% to 15% and the health bonus from 10% to 15%. Buff the movement speed of Dominating Presence from 5% movement speed to 10% extra movement speed.

    Edit 10: Added Discharge's new Guardian class to list of current class ideas going around, and added the time of creation at the top.

    Edit 11: Added a bit more background to why I made this class and added a bit more information on various things. Also modified Tempered Armor a bit to encourage users to wear higher health armor with lots of negative walk speed. Buffed Exhaustion from 4 mana to 6 mana.

    Edit 12: Created the Changelog thread to avoid the maximum character limit of 24400 characters



    Changelog for Arbelest:

    Edit one: I think I have some understanding of damage values, but I still want to base my class off of meteor so i just replaced the fraction of a meteor with damage percentages (correct me if I am wrong)
    Buffed the air damage in Shadow Bolt from 5%, 7.5%, 10% to 5%, 10%, 15% for each level,respectively.
    Buffed the extra fire damage created by explosive bolt at level 3 from 15% to 20% and gave it an extra 5% water damage caused by the pure ice shards content in the bolt.

    Edit 2: Fixed the changes from weapon to spell (I think I have it right this time)

    Edit 3: Retired this thread officially on Tuesday, March 22,2016 at 10:30 PM. I will not continue to edit this idea and will be working on some other ideas, and improving my priest class if it gets some more suggestions.


    Changelog for Priest:

    Edit 1: Added the option for game devs to completely remove it (heal) and replace it with a skill and added a sample skill as replacement.

    Edit 2: Added Slimeonatree57's Idea for an alternate skill for mage's heal

    Edit 3: Added Slimeonatree57's reskin for whirlwind, changed barrier shield to include a speed buff.

    Edit 4: Changed weapon damage to the correct spell damage unit

    Edit 5: Buffed Arcane Bolts from 30% to 35% and buffed barrier shield from 10, 15, 20% to 15, 20, 25%. Nerfed Exhaustion from below 6 to below 5 mana. Nerfed Ruthless from 200% extra damage from all sources to 100% damage from all sources. Buffed Healing catalyst from 20% to 25% extra healing. Made Intelligence able to affect the mana drain.
    These changes serve to increase the amount of support that this class can provide, as well as a little bit of extra damage.

    Edit 6: Added so when you Shift in Stasis Heal you end the effect


    Changelog for Paladin/Templar #2:

    Edit 1: Decreased the mana cost of Holy Nova from 12 to 10. Increased the initial explosion from 100% spell damage to 200% spell damage. Increased damage from Aura of Purification by 5%. Added Speed boost while Aura of purification ifs active. Increased the amount of health regen from 1% every 4 seconds to 1% every 3 seconds. Buffed Fortitude by 5%. Deflection was changed to deflect all hits in 1 skill (only affects arrow storm and multihit) and increased the amount of deflection on the Level 3 talent from 25% to 30%. Increased Press the Advantage trait from 2 seconds to 3 seconds.

    Edit 2: Changed Tempered Armor to include indirect walk speed bonus, changed channeling resistance from 2% every 0.1 seconds to 3% every 0.1 seconds. Decreased damage of Holy Nova's initial implosion (opposite of explosion) from 200% to 100% and increased range at each level by 1 block. Increased the knockback of Unleash Energy from 6 blocks to 7 blocks. Added +10% Earth for Level 2 and 3 of Holy Nova caused by the talent Earth Shatter.
