World Change Mythic Armor

As all of you know, mythic armores are completely worthless due to their lackluster ids and stats and their insane rarity. What makes this suggestion unique compared to most other suggestions, that want to buff mythic armor, I suggest to change their tier from mythic to legendary. Perhaps there could be some stat changes too, but the latter is necessary in order to make them balanced because mythics as a tier are so unbalanced that it may be impossible to make it worth their rarity while at the same time making them not op. Plus the devs or mods said that mythic armor was never going to be added, and they still haven't given any official justification for their existence. This way mythic armor can be balanced more appropriately without making them worthless or op, and everyone wont have to deal with a few more over priced items that are useless.

(Also, Selvut would finally be able to balance them instead of waiting on Salted forever to just make them even more broken or useless)

Well at least they could always buff them as legendaries instead of another op set of mythics. I wouldn't mind them being another tier though, just as long as they are balanced.

 

Please don't make discoverer legendary. It would destroy the market

 

This definitely will not and cannot happen. All of the people who have found or spent money to get a piece of armour will suddenly find themselves owning a piece of armour that is significantly more common and worth a hell of a lot less.

Discoverer deserves to be a mythic. 150% loot bonus is nothing to scoff at.

The boots specifically need to be balanced. Most of them have very little reward for their insane requirements (except for warchief, but that's still extremely insane and even glassy).

Boreal is pretty nice for warrior builds giving insane health regen and 2/4 mana regen.

Warchief is pretty nice for earth and melee builds

Galleons (lol) need to get buffed

Disco is pretty nice, price is dropping but that's just normal market inflation/deflation, their price will go up SoonTM

also ik pure isnt armour but its so bad its not even worthy to be a meme so pls buff

if it wasnt for people who bought them at high prices and discoverer being too strong compared to the rest, itd be a good idea

 

I understand that people might be outraged, especially how collectibles got duped and then their price plummeted. I just think the con of having more unbalanced and over priced mythics on the market outweighs the con of people losing money on their armores. Idk if there is a solution to this.

And that also gets to my previous point that it's nearly impossible to balance mythics. It'll be much easier to balance then if they were legendary.

Btw, it's proven that Loot Bonus doesn't affect Loot Chests, which are the main source of getting good items. Given the -4000 hp, it'll be harder to kill mobs or survive longer, which means you kill mobs slower or less of them, which means less loot gained. So Loot Bonus is actually worthless until the Loot Chest Bug is fixed.

The market is already destroyed with having mythics going up 90+ stacks. We don't need anymore unbalanced or over priced mythics on the market. I understand that some people may lose emeralds bc of this, but things get nerfed and buffed all the time and if they were legendary they could actually get balanced and improved.

its just if they are not mythic they are no longer special. You will be holding something you paid stacks of LE for, days on grinding, and find out that due to a new update it is no longer rare, no longer worth all that LE. Does that seem fair?

No, but does it seem fair to have more over powered or unbalanced mythics? The amount of drama and rant threads that have be created from mythics is astounding, not to mention the market being destroyed. Selvut doesn't like them that much either since he can't balance them.

It's a hard decision to nerf anything, but does that mean it shouldn't be done? Remember when people paid stacks for pure? Should have the spell damage bug been untouched, even though it was completely op? What about recent nerfs and the hive armor?

Overall, it's not a clean cut suggestion, but I think the pros outweigh the cons.
