Champion Rank And Ingredients Farming

With the rising significance of professions (mats for housing, tomeslot, for quests iirc) more and more people start leveling their profs which also means more people do it at a high level.
Therefor since the update most of the ingredients (you need them to level crafting profs) have doubled in their price. Now you can say:"And? Just farm them yourself!"

Okay then let us lose some thoughts about that. Farming ingredients for high level profs means you need A LOT. So you try to do it in the most efficient way possible. Get a class only for farming ingredients, get it to the spot where you want to farm and... here comes the problem i have.
Pre-update everyone would wait for someone announcing a double loot bomb on the bombstracker discord. If there was one everyone had the same chance to get on the world. The only difference was that people with a rank had mobtotems which was already a big advantage. Thats why I (as someone who has no rank) bought about half of all the ingredients i needed. The rest i farmed myself which obviously took more time then for someone with a rank.
How is the situation now after the update? Its almost a monopoly for people with a champion rank. They have their bombbell which tells them when there is a double loot bomb. They can just
switch to the world in an instant. They can even enter if the world is full and they have mob totems. Maybe the bomb gets pinged a minute later in the bombstracker discord and if I try to get on the world I probably just
gonna see a 55/50.

To conclude, champion ranks have a huge advantage on farming ingredients with their bombbell, switch command, extra server slots and mobtotems. Its actually a money machine as the price for ingredients almost doubled.

Fix the champion rank!

 

Agreed, its very frustrating for non-champ and unranked people to get into bomb servers now. I understand that its gonna be hard to change the champion perks without getting people mad, but i have thought of some kind of compromise. My main issue is the problem with servers having 55/50 people, which makes it almost impossible to get into prof servers, hence why i quit proffing. I think the best solution to this is to make champion slots COMPLETELY seperate from regular slots. so if a champion joins the world, they are put in the champion slot, and there would still be space for normal players to join rather than having the world be overfilled. im fine with the perks that champ rank gives (pets repair items, fetch spare tools from bank, etc.) but when those perks actively make it worse for people without the rank, it makes it very frustrating with many parts of the game.

 

Not sure why you make this post about profs instead of something like dbomb, but I still agree champ needs a nerf
