I honestly forgot about this until now too - searched up some old threads about the prison and apparently a mod got demoted for teleporting players in there? I'm shocked that the prison is even still ingame after that.

 

Wow so I guess there are no plans for the Ternaves prison anymore, shame. It could have been an amazing plot for a quest or dungeon.

Yes it did,, there were screenshots on the forums at some point, though they seem to be gone now. I have hope that someone will post them on this thread. Also do yall ever wonder why the guards at the current fruma gate are level 60? maybe fruma was originally meant to be for lvl 60 up.

 

Oh and by the way I found this playlist on XavierEXE's YouTube channel, its called the unknown playlist. It has music that sounds very much like the Silent Expanse. Were these tracks created for Dern at some point? I don't know if I'm allowed to post links here but all of that music is public, so you should be able to find it if you just search "Wynncraft unknown playlist". All of those tracks may have been meant for Dern at some point. Anyways I'll look more into it tomorrow.

 

i think the coordinates for the dungeon match up with the canyon of the lost ultimate discovery, which is at a giant door that would make sense as a dungeon entrance.

Afaik they were early tracks for silent expanse but im not sure if that ever got confirmed (maybe its in the comments of the videos somewhere idk)

It's good to know that dullahan would have been a raid. It's such a massive plothole that with Lari gone and her magic weakened the guy is still just afk at his castle

Still would love an aftermath quest detailing what happens after Lari going poof. Some games have those.

 

I remember Gavel used to have two big ruined towers next to Lake Gylia, and I believe they were also supposed to have a questline before the towers got removed. Anyone know what that storyline was supposed to be?

There was also something called The Crypt under the great bridge at one point. Various dialogue would play as you walked around the lower great bridge area, and you could even go as far as getting the Crypt Key from a Crypt Keeper in Troms. But the key wouldn't open the entrance to the crypt, and as far as I know that stuff has since been removed. I did some research on the wiki, and when I looked on The Realm of Dern's page, I found that these tracks actually were made for Dern some time before the silent expanse released. It's super weird that Dern of all things already had music made for it before the silent expanse did. It makes me wonder if they ever made any builds for it, probably not but it's still fun to think they may have.

It's possible that there may be a Dullahan dungeon instead, Deusphage said that if they were to add a dungeon in gavel that's not in the forgery, it would probably be a dullahan dungeon. So I believe there is a chance they might have something for him in the future, but right now their main focus is Fruma.

Oh ive never heard about that before. I wonder what the storyline of those towers would have been too, perhaps something to do with the meteors? As for the crypt, I don't really have much to say about it other that it's very interesting that they might have planned something for it.

Well I just found out that the track is not releasing until Wynncraft gets the new instruments.

I don’t remember when it was removed but it’s been gone for awhile, from what I’ve heard you needed to throw an item to get into it, this is similar to gales grave, which IS still around and would eat items for the longest time without any effect with what you put in. It no longer does this

the house near the SE dern portal was originally explorable from what I’ve heard

the Heliolux, a race of creatures native to the light were completely removed in 1.20, the only one left in the game is the NOL raid keeper which looks like one but isn’t confirmed

there’s a lot more that I’ve heard about but a lot of it is pretty well known or has been mentioned already, like clock mystery or great bridge crypt

Just a random number. When the gate was added, I don't believe we actually ever planned on adding Fruma as a place you could explore, just some place that would be mentioned very loosely

Are you familiar with the secret in The Void?

 

Yeah I know about the void secret, I just thought that the wind fortress might not happen since that secret is really the only indication that it might happen, if even planned. And as for the gate, why would you guys add a gate if you were never planning to add anything beyond it in the first place? But now it's happening? Seems kinda weird.
