So the assassin is supposed to be able to go thirteen blocks using their dash, but unless they jump they only go about 8 blocks, on top of that they run into that issue again if they try dashing in rapid succession it cuts the second and any subsequent dashes short unless they hit the ground then jump and do it again. On top of that, the continuous drain of mana for invisibility is kind of a lot, especially because half the time I would dash then try to attack in order to stop the invisibility, but it will have registered an extra right-click then when I hit it just thinks I'm trying to use an ability and the invisibility doesn't stop and a bunch of mana is needlessly wasted when I'm trying to get somewhere and I have to then sit and wait for my mana to regen before I can get going again. Like if the shaman can throw out a totem for a one-time use of mana that will do damage and heal for the next 20 seconds, the assassin should be able to do the same with their dash.

Assassin isn't supposed to continuously recast vanish, you're supposed to cast it once and get a bit of a movement boost, then use the speed to travel mostly. Idk what the exact spell boost distance (not from speed) is compared to what it should be, but considering you get 5 seconds of the fastest speed boost in the game, it's always felt fine to me.
Uhhh... I don't really understand what you're saying here, do you mean that you accidentally right-click rather than left-click when trying to unvanish? Attacking to get out of vanish shouldn't ever start a spell combo unless you're doing something wrong as far as I know.
Totem is a completely different spell compared to vanish, the reason it stays so long without any additional cost is because you need to have it to use other spells. Besides, vanish has 1 mana base cost (or 2 now reeee), so I'd say that mostly makes up for it draining mana if you stay in it the full 5 seconds.

Anyways, though, what exactly are you suggesting be done to improve vanish here? I'll admit it probably does have some problems, but what do you think should be done to fix them?

See once you get the speed boost upgrade I'm sure that helps a lot, but in the description for the skill, it lists the distance jumped as thirteen blocks, but half the time it doesn't actually go the thirteen blocks, so just making it that 13 blocks each time you dash would be nice.

About the getting out of vanish though, I will dash then left click to hit to break the streak, but somehow it will have registered another right-click from when I was activating the dash the first time, I think its more of a lag thing, but it is still kind of annoying.

I feel like the assassin dash is most comparable to the archer, so let's go with that. The archer has their dash that at the second level gives speed 3 for 3 minutes, but just has the one-time mana cost of 3 mana. With the assassin though if we took the one base cost plus the 4-5 mana it will cost over the duration of the invisibility, it is now the most expensive movement spell of any of the classes, especially with the base cost of 2 after, it just makes it even more expensive and for no real good reason. I think to fix it they should make it a one-time cost of like 4 mana, because sure it would be more expensive at first, but without the invisibility drain on the mana, it would help make the total cost fairer. Which would be nice because I don't think there's anything special enough about the assassin dash to make it the most expensive. Sure the speed 5 is nice but that's only at level 46, and only for five seconds which isn't anything that grand, especially when compared to the archer's speed 3 for 3 minutes. I also think that they should move the abilities from a series of right and left clicks to a keybind scenario to prevent any lag from ruining your next attack with a click it carried over.

Probably the wiki. Apparently, some random person added that to the Assassin article almost a year ago.

Yeah I got it off of the wiki, but I made sure to double check it in game, and like I said when you make sure to jump before using the skill it goes that far but otherwise it shorts your dash, making it kind of inconsistent.
