Builder Portfolio?

Hey all!

As someone who loves to build, I seek to only get better at the art of building. And to do that, I constantly practice, watch tutorial videos, Grians "Let's Build," and exc.

The thought of applying to the Wynncraft Build Team has popped into my mind recently. So, I want to know if I have what it takes!

Is it possible that a current builder on the build team notices this thread and sends me their portfolio to look at? I feel like it'll be a great help to not only me, but other aspiring potential builders looking to apply for the Build Team.

Also, even if you're not a pro-builder, please feel free to send me your portfolio! I'd love to look at what everyone is doing, and hopefully pull some inspiration for a new project of mine.

Essentially, let's make this a hub of discussing our builds lol.

If you can look at the Wynncraft builds and say, "Yep, I can probably replicate that," then you should have a good chance at getting in. I would also include terrain if possible.

I've always wanted to be on the build team and contribute to Wynncraft

My portfolio isn't that huge though tbh

and I haven't built anything that looks rustic like Wynn although I am good at picking up new styles and conforming when building

idk maybe one day though I love this idea for seeing builds from others on the build team for inspiration

clicked on the app and when I saw the the question can u use voxel sniper was like yeah no

 

I thought about it for some time but then.....I have a bad habit of going on hiatus without notice, disappearing and reappearing at odd times, getting confused, and forgetting....Even though I'm almost at the point I could replicate something from Wynncraft, I just don't have time (or ability to stay focused).

 

Yeah haha, I always wonder what blew away the team enough to accept somebody. I'm gonna interview a builder one day lol

 

I mean, to get on the team you certainly have to have skill, but you don't have to be a professional. Of course I'm not educated on how they decide on what applications to accept, but I think as long as you can show off different aspects of building (detail, shape, texturing, terrain, etc) with a decent amount of skill you'll probably be accepted.
