Enjoy :) he's super rpoud of himself and ur just liek > SHARP_SIREN.wav Step 1: picking the correct pallet this step is extremely important as it will ultimately dictate what style of building you should approach the following strucutre. I have made 4 pallets randing from the easiest, the one at the top to one of the harder ones down the bottom. (relitively easy and hard) I have also sorted them into three groups, roof, foundation and body, the roof being the gold blcok, the foundation, emerald and the body diamond. Step 2: Get rid of unnessary details Highlighted in the build shown above is a technique called "slab spaming" definied as the repetion of usless patterns, notice how the walls are cluttered and plastered with staircases and fenses? this is a big no no. ahh thats better no random log beams, no stair cases or fenses, this is a fresh start for the building a clean slate. (I removed the roof because it was absoblutely hiddious. Step 3: Highlighting foundations Foundations are acturlly very important in the general shape and feel of the build, a good solid foundation makes the house feel stable and secure, able to lift up the upper floors a fantasy house generally tends to have. Step 4: Creating intresting shapes These shapes add intrest and life to your build, you want to make it seem that you are not bound to the grid of minecraft but instead free to do what ever, you can achieve this by incorperating diagonals and spheres, bringing your build out of your computer so to speak and into real life. Step 5: Boundary layer filling I really dont know what to call this detail but it is very important to the style I am doing, so I will just call it boundary layer filling, so basically, you have too floors and the space where you transion from one floor to the next loos weird without this fillings, these fillings add detail and deapth without creating clutter and mess, they act almost like a frame for your windowsills or bocanies, generally really coool lil detail to have. Step 6: Coloring Now it is finially time to use your pallet, replace all your mask blocks with the blocks in your pallet, and now you are finished! I have made a plot on builders refuge... ./plot h Qulaey 8 too see the house.
