Buff Qira Please And Thank You

Doesn't old qira literally just wall out more builds just by existing? That's pretty garbage design imo, nothing to base on skill.

 

Old Qira wasn't supposed to be defeated solo. It was a raid boss and that's why I find her old design fresh when compared to other soloable bosses.
EDIT: Ofc raw spell dmg glitch made her easily soloable at that time as well.

 

Most first timers do it in a group in current qira too?

I've helped (with mixed success) a few people with qira now, people have trouble cause a) they're still lv80 or so and b) sometimes they don't even have a build and try going at it with a lv75 elemental weapon.

If you know what you're doing and wait till 95, even on first playthrough its not bad (speaking from my experience with non-mage classes.)

 

To be fair, I am very much so a solo player (in fact, my original sole reason for playing Wynn was to solo everything possible combat wise in the game at level with every class). Suggesting playing the game alone is usually the complete opposite of what an MMORPG wants you to do, I think it's safe to assume that what Razor said is true, whether it be through doing it with friends the first time you do it and/or asking for help and getting carried through it. Keep in mind that he said most, not all.

 

Last time I actually did a solo against Qira was 6 months ago just to record some short videos and to compare the effectiveness of skill pots.
As an Alkatraz tier stack warrior, with skill pots I could just outright tank everything she could throw at me with almost no worry that I'd die. Since Alkatraz melee has so much dps being able to just walk up and hit her constantly bypassed any sort of "heal wall" she had.
Though this was before her health buff there is no reason why that would change anything other than the amount of time it took to kill her.

Without skill pots she was more challenging, but in essence she ended up just being 3 phases of health that forced me to heal a fair amount. Just going in and hitting until my health gets low then healing was sufficient to tear her to pieces.

Compared to Orange Wybel or Legendary Island, she feels much weaker. Like most of the bosses in the game, if your build can take a few hits from her and punch through her healing, the power of health pots can carry you the entire fight.
