Boycott Hypixel

Not saving up, I mean I was tired of waiting for sales to upgrade my rank and I was happy when I got MVP+ bc that meant I didn't have to upgrade anymore

 

I'm well aware that watchdog is a automated program and 'its not perfect'. The original poster said that they were banned solely because a MVP++ rank reported them. I also wanted to point out that automated systems do not just boot people randomly. That being said: As minecraft is java and the watchdog program is likely 100% written in JavaScript (not the most reliable of the many programing languages out there). So yes, it dose kick innocent people from time to time, but it is not for no reason at all. Like I said, there needs to be some kind of parameter that is fulfilled in order to activate the 'kick' part of the coding. Sometimes these parameters can be created by something as simple as a tiny lag spike that glitches the player into a wall or something. It could be anything really, and with watchdogs attention on the player, that was enough to give them the boot.

 

If you want to play on a good multiplayer server without a lot of these issues then I'd like to recommend one called Wynncraft. Not sure if you've heard of it or not.

I just banned by cheat detection a week ago guys... But I never used hacks... Just banned for a week and apeal is denied........

 

They don't ban people only for hacks ya know,what were ya banned for

 

I once reported someone for building a swastika in a Build Battle game and they didn’t get banned.
I got a temp ban (I think it was a temp ban, it was a while back so I’m not 100% sure) because I killed a person and he thought I used kill aura (I didn’t).

 

When Im trying to join Hype, I see message: Banned by cheat detection.

It's pretty rare that watchdog false bans since it's so leniant on hacks

 

Once, someone purchased a VIP rank on hypixel for a friend of mine. A few days later the random guy who bought the rank for my friend chargebacked. My friend got banned for it.

 

Uhmm.... That was his fault

 

How in the world is that his fault

 

Every single server bans for chargeback, not just Hypixel.

If he let the dude buy it for him, it's fault

If he didn't then theres nothing he nor the server could have done

Chargebacking is technically illegal and bannable on all buycraft servers and majority of servers in general

 

and that's why I feel like mapmaking is the best thing about this game, the community around it is so chill, mature and helpful
I love playing some realms with friends, it's just pure fun

when my other friends see I play minecraft they're like "wtf m8 you still haven't moved on from that game"
