The 10 imps all attack Johan for a total of 89HP.

You swing your mace at the parts of the wall and ceiling that are near the stairs. It begins to crumble, and dust falls.

You run inside the castle and up the stairs to where Johan is, Cupid chasing you. The crystal creatures are also following Cupid.

The 4 large pink imps fire orbs at Virtus, dealing 79 damage and killing him.

You drink a damage potion, making your damage 15 temporarily, and smack the two closest imps with your gauntlets. They deal 50 damage to both imps, killing both the imps.

You drink your potion, healing for 100HP, and run up the stairs. You reach the top of the stairs where Johan is, with Gladion right behind you. Cupid also flies up behind you all.

The crystal creatures heal Cupid for a total of 50HP.

I drink a healing potion and smack two large pink imps with my gauntlets.

 

Shoot at the inps sureoundibg Johan. I'll save Virtus when I can go over and grab his scroll. Unless someone else wants to revive?

 

The 8 remaining imps attack Johan, dealing 88 damage.

You use the thunder orb on Cupid, and then swing your axe at him. It does 105 damage. You then back away to block arrows.

Doombringer jumps at a large pink imp and bites it, dealing 14 damage and charming it.

Cupid fires an arrow at Tsu, charming him.

The just-charmed large pink imp grabs two large pink imps and smashes their heads together, dealing 25 damage to both of them, then hits the fourth large pink imp with the first two, dealing 14 damage to the first two and 18 to the fourth one , then throws them all at the ground, dealing 7 damage to them all, and fires an orb, dealing 40 damage to all of them. The 3 imps are too dazed to attack.

You drink a healing potion and smack 2 of the large pink imps on the ground with your gauntlets, dealing 35 damage and 14 damage, killing both of them.

You attack Johan with your longsword. It does 118 damage.

The crystal creatures fire beams at Cupid, but they do nothing because of the thunder orb.

It seems that the charming arrows dont do damage, so anyone with super close damage weapons should just lock and grapple cupid, making it so it takes more than 2 turns to break the grapple, even for the grappler. >.>
Attempt to grapple cupid and offset his arrows.

 

@Wommby I got two questions.
1. If I grapple an enemy with my fishing rod, will the grapple effect continue onto the next turn without me having to renew it if the enemy stays grappled?
2. If an enemy is grappled and the answer to the first question is yes, can I use a weapon while still using the fishing rod with the grappling effect the next turn?

Because I think I got an amazing idea at how to counter Cupid's charming effect.

 

What if he charms you though

 

That's exactly what I want.
I'll grapple at Cupid, swear at him loudly and force him to charm me, then I (hopefully) will have the fishing rod stuck in Cupid and unable to use another weapon, making his charm useless and giving you time to kill him.

 

What if you being charmed causes you to attempt to free him from the fishing rod? :/
Not that we have a better plan rn, but it's smth to think about.
