Raw spell/melee damage, stun/freeze spells and a good plan of attack help a lot.

Try using pots.

 

Use Ethereal.

 

How to beat Bob:

Step 1:
Have a friendo. Usually having 1-2 spam healers can be helpful, and if you can even get a small posse going, then you're set.

Step 2:
Get to high ground. If you have access to the top of the portal or other high areas, get up there!

Step 3:
Stand your ground. Bob isn't extremely fast like other bosses, so as long as you are good distance away from him you'll be fine.

Step 4: (Optional)
Git Gud. If you finish this step there's no need to do the first 3 steps.

it is hard at the quest level,so get someone to help,it is easy on high level (my friend and i even using walk speed gear and circle around bob lol)

 

i solod him a few years ago (before gavel). and i was warrior with low mana
just get gud.
