Better Storyline?? WynnExcavation or Realm of Light?

Lari's character more of byproduct of how the story pace itself

they both want to develop her character while also expand new concept like realm and war of the realm as a whole. There definitely a lot of thing that could be discuss but overall in my personal opinion a lot of ROL's flaws constatnly feed each other to the point it hard to pin point the root of the problem beside general problem like pacing, payoff, and more

Orphion absence from the story without explanation definitely leave some hole(And no he did not leave because of Lari, he was also absence before parasite even come into ROL)

Dullahan character being underuse

Too much emphasis on Lari's flaw causing her development to not pay off

Not building up mystery for next part of the story(They reveal Lari did not succeed in ROL 2 ending rather than keeping it for ROL 3)

There some idea I have that I personally see would improve ROL storyline while keeping its core and using it for some of my project

Some idea like making Lari introduce as morally conflicted character to give contrast to her ROL 3 apperance

Make Lari appear in ROL 3 to allow her to interact with Dulla and offer more perspective of the event

Make Dullahan be the wheel to further develop Lari as a character(he does not need to appear in more quest, just need more impact as character for what he is)

Give explanations to Orphion absence(Don't need to be actual reason, just giving something as smokescreen or not)

and this is mostly just my personals taste, but I would world build Aldorei as religions pacifist extremists society to explain Lari pacifism so you don't need to bloat ROL with her backstory and let players come to their own conclusion through the implication within world building in Aldorei and if Lari did indeed introduce Lari as morally conflicted character, her pacifism would not need that much its own section to explain because it invalid to her modern characters

 

Imma go with Wynnex, even though it's outdated, the story ideas are really nice, though I think it would be better if amadel was there for the whole questline to make the plot twist feel more impactful, I do think it needs to also tell a little more about the olm, maybe a few cutscenes showing them hiding the crystals away

 

Oh yeah, right, lol. I always forget about those quests. :)
