Better Bossfights!

Hello!
So our wise mods decided to nerf players cuz of easy soloing bosses or somethin' huh?
I realized that EVERY boss is really boring and same tactic
- hit
-escape
And this is even worse when you are fighting Bob/Chained beast
- hit
- wait for charge spell which is gonna to miss u
- hit
But what if bosses would have they own special powers?
Its a great idea! Isnt it?
For example CoW special spell
- Corrupted blood: you have no mana for 6 seconds + you have got slowness 2 for 13 seconds
- Mind Controll: CoW teleports you into Him and he does 5x more dam for 3 sec

 

Yeah, the suggestion that was accepted for the Gavel Contest was a better bosses concept but...

It didn't happen.

 

But it's going to for the follow up update. In the words of Salted,"that worm boss wasn't for nothing".

 

Emmm i guess DEVELOPERS are too lazy to make more spells than multihit charge and some shit like this ;/

 

Do you actually know how hard it is to code such things / implement them in the right way?
Also, there is *wink* Jumla *wink* just one guy doing the coding-stuff.

 

I did once a shitty code which made zombie super duper tanky dude ! ( my biggest achviement xD)

 

There's a reason why Jumla drinks coffee rather than something else.
(And a lot of people)

 

I am a Java dev. myself, but there is a huge difference between applying a simple potion effect, and actually coding a completly new spell (+ implementation into the mob-system) with timing, aim and vectors.

 

No they're not. I just told you that better bosses are coming in the future. Developers are anything but lazy.

 

Maybe wynncraft admins should get somebody like ijaminecraft :o

 

Not lazy, just bogged down with a lot of bug fixing work. It is difficult having to split the attention like we have to. And, before you say "more devs" that costs a lot of money.

Dont loose time on another bosses without new better powers like Qira, but do these epic special spells <3

Moderators do no work except moderating the player base. Game Masters do the creation of mobs, quests, and items. Developers, however, actually develop the system.

Game Masters making mobs and bosses does nothing to impede the progress of the developers.
