Community Event Battle Of The Quests

Going to have to disagree with you on Beyond the Grave, I liked it but there was something off about it if you know what I mean, there weren't any clear directions as what to do in death's mansion, the quest was kind of short, the puzzle was infuriating when lag was active on the server and I couldn't really ever enjoy it to its fullest potential. Shattered Minds is a great quest I agree, it is also very memorable but I also feel as though its been topped by newer quests as well and the quest is extremely abstract in terms of story which kind of pulls it down for me as well. Wynn Excavation I certainly agree is poor nowadays but a large portion of wynns player base comes from 2014 which is when wynn excavation was being developed and was pretty hyped up at the time if I recall correctly, this hype according to me has been converted into nostalgia for a lot of us and I wouldn't be surprised if it reached the final survey.

 

I never thought of saying something like that....

And about everything else you said... well, that's your opinon. I understand if you don't like the quest, but to me I loved the quest because 1) It's funny 2) My name is Yahya.... I'm not joking :)
Studying the corrupt is one of the enjoyable quests that I played, its not in my top ten, but thats just because of the fact that there are better quests.

Another thing I would like to say, is that not every fetch quest is bad.
Still, fetch quests are bad is a fact I can't denied.

Also, yeah it got annhiliated but at least it didnt get annhilated like some of the quests. I'm happy enough that my favorite quest got into the battle at the least.

There are now only eight quests remaining. Even though some of them won't make it to the semifinals, the fact that they've made it this far shows that there are many people who enjoy these quests.

A lot happened this round, so here are some more of my thoughts:

• Deja Vu barely won and was tied with FiD when I originally wanted to close the poll. In the end, the tie was broken just by 3 votes.
• In fact, almost all of the rounds were super close, except for 1000 Meters Under. I'd say that quest has the best chance of winning, but anything is possible.

This was a very close round and I'm interested to see how this one will go down. Gonna predict now that 1000 Meters will win simply because it keeps winning by a large margin, but it's never gone up against Doguns and Dwarves Pt. 4 before. (Assuming D&D even wins, that round will likely be a close one!)

 

I would have been low-key triggered if WynnEx Site D lost to druggie quest

 

NUUUUUUUUUUU my favorite quests deja by and memory paranoia both didn't make the semi finals : (

 

I'm sad for Memory Paranoia, but I despise the fact that Beyond the Grave got through, I dislike that quest with a burning passion tbh, many times more than Wynn Excavation Site D. That puzzle during phases of lag has proven to be one of the banes of my existence on the server since Gavel was released. Also I would prefer that Wynn Excavation wins over D&D 4 because of the mediocre final boss fight with Garareth, at least Amadel proves himself to be at least semi-difficult and not an absolute pushover. The rest of D&D 4 though was actually pretty good imo though.

 

Yeah, none of my favorite quest did.
Grave mistake, memory paranoia, fate of the fallin, and deja vu.

 

I feel like 1000 meters under is the best out of the remaining for because for me, it tells such a great story and is something that I can just see playing out in my head, rather then the other remaining three quests

 

Why do people like Deja Vu so much?

Let's talk about what might be the elephant in the room, which is D&D Part 4 making it to the finals. This came as a surprise, since many people predicted Wynn Ex. to win, myself included. However, this victory makes a bit of sense, I feel like Site D isn't as popular as it used to be. And while it does hold nostalgia for older players, the community is getting more and more new people who may prefer the cutscenes and events that D&D provides.

1000 Meters Under did just as well as people thought. I'm interested to see how it fares against D&D, since those two quests have never been in some sort of poll against one another before. Either way, Imaxe wins.

This is sort of unrelated, but would you guys be interested in more threads like this? I wasn't expecting this weird idea to blow up this much (even salted, or at least a guy pretending to be him, voted!).
