Ban for AFK Macro (I was playing manually)

I was banned for 'use of afk macro.' I fully understand that from the server's perspective, my behavior looked very suspicious, but I would like to clarify what happened to prove that I was playing manually.

I attempted to submit an appeal through the official website, but the system blocked me with a message stating: "Our records indicate there are no valid permanent bans tied to your name." Since I cannot submit a formal appeal through the normal system, I am writing this here instead in hopes of clearing up this misunderstanding.

At the time of the ban, I was grinding mobs to level up. To pass the time, I set up my iPad next to my monitor to watch a movie. I actually muted the game audio completely so I could hear the movie clearly without background noise.

I found a spot where I could stand still, so I was simply mindlessly spamming my attack skills with one hand based on muscle memory, while my eyes were completely focused on the movie screen. This is why I appeared 'AFK' and unresponsive to any staff checks—I genuinely didn't see or hear anything because I was engrossed in the movie with the game sounds off.

Furthermore, my internet has been extremely unstable recently. When I was finally kicked from the server, I didn't realize I was banned at first. I assumed it was just another connection timeout. I actually got up from my chair to go check my internet router to see if it was working.

When I came back and still couldn't connect, I thought my game was bugged, so I completely closed and restarted Minecraft. It was only after I logged back in that I finally saw the ban screen.

I was definitely playing manually, just very distracted and dealing with lag. I have never used macros on this server. I hope you can understand the situation."

 

What can I do? I can't appeal, and they didn't say how long I'm banned. I want to know how many days I have to wait or what I need to do because I didn't do anything wrong.

Thank you for the advice, and I'm sorry for the late reply—I've been very busy lately and couldn't check back sooner. I haven't tried reaching out on Wyncord yet because I was worried that tagging a moderator directly might be considered rude or against the rules. I'm not really sure how it works—is there a specific channel or a proper procedure I should follow to report this? I'd appreciate any guidance!

 

it aint rude, its within the specifications of what they signed up for lol. also i'm banned from the wynncord myself (it was a dumb gif, bite me) so i dont know what the server looks like anymore; if they have a specific channel for reporting things. if yes, try that, if no, just select whichever mod you think might be nice enough and just shoot em a dm detailing ur issue
