And another thing, if you think about it, the sheer fact that humans are able to speculate their own demise means that they care about their survival. If we didn't care, if we just continued what we did with no consideration, we would have been dead long, long ago.

They have good reason to remove it that does not involve chinese people dominating resources and causing overpopulation . it would be selfish to let the chinese only have 1 kid while you can have many , then again , depends on your morals , Martin Luther King Jr once said :"i judge people based on their own values , not my own." i cant hope to be as wise as him so i guess it is in your hands.

I'm pretty sure if I said 'I want to do well in my maths test!', I'd try to do things that would make that happen, like study.
Or, 'I'm going to do bad in my maths test :(' Would make me try to not do bad in my maths test.

I recommend the hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy for everyone who has participated in this topic. It has a very intriguing message.

Your arguments make no sense. There are hundreds of scientists cataloging asteroids and simulating their trajectories. The odds of an asteroid colliding with Earth without our prior knowledge are so minute they don't even need discussion.

As for your other point: I will be willing to donate my Martian real estate properties to you if humans don't end up colonizing another planet within fifty years.

Who said my arguments had to make sense? Who said I was contributing at all? For all you know Im just trying to ignore people like you who often try to correct people. Even though, I'm not XD

This is when you stop questioning what I say and just go with it, because I most likely have issues with my mental health.

Also, if y'all want my opinion, there's no point of living if we were like all other animals. Just part of the basic cycle of nature, if we were like them. It doesn't matter if we end the world early due to our high-intelligence that produces technology. If we weren't intelligent, we wouldn't even be contemplating this and we wouldn't even know what the end of the planet means.

As I've always believed: the only way sadness can manifest is by an opposite reaction of happiness, whether sympathetic happiness or joyful happiness.

The only real, scary thing about everything is that happiness only occurs in the present. Not the past, not the future. When the present ends, everything is gone.

The world was never meant to be in harmony. It's chaotic. An ordered chaotic. Why would we want to postpone the inevitable, if we can't even advance further (through space, etc.)?

It depends how far away you look at it. On our planet; Earth, Humans should become extinct. If we become a type three civilization and colonize other habitable planets with advanced life forms it doesn't matter as much. But in the entirety of everything... Humans don't matter.

Even then, it still depends. If there are multitudes of other life forms just like us, then we don't matter. But on the other hand, if we are the only ones, then we are all that matters.

We are an apex predator, which believe it or not, are crucial to ecosystems. The problem with humans however, is that we tend to clump up in large groups instead of spreading out. Aaaaand we also tend to take things too far. I'm perfectly fine with the thought of human extinction, but let's just fix the problems we've created first.

If talked about from a human survival point of view, of course it's bad.
However, if it's for the planet's survival, and every other living thing, then the extinction of humans probably does more good than bad.

Sure, we hurt the planet. But disinfecting a wound also hurts. If the earth will wait and support us it will find itself with a race capable of guarding it and ensuring the survival of other species.

The problem is that we actually need to ensure the survival of other species. If we were never there, the earth would be totally fine, and animals can survive on their own, without needing another species to make sure it does. We've killed so many animals, cut down so many trees, polluted the atmosphere, etc, so the planet is in the state it's in now. 'We can help' by stopping what we do. We stop killing animals, destroying the environment. So it isn't even help, it's just our self-control. If we were never there in the first place, or if we all suddenly died, the planet would heal a lot faster I can assure you. Pandas are so rare because we poached them. We put them in zoos now because we want them to be safe from poachers. If noone is on the planet, then the pandas are fine, as they don't have poachers to decrease their population.

But imagine a world with no humans, nature will run its course untill a giant planetary disaster will happen.
Back to human world, if we survive said planetary disaster we extended the survivability of earth's species even if we rescued only a couple of them.
