    Its main weakness is that it has no powder slots and only deals elemental damage, and has no damage boosts on its own. If it had skill requirements, it'd honestly be a bit useless.

    That's the only way you can specialize. You can't add powders or any raw damage, and despite its initially impressive appearance, it's much more reasonable in action.
