Introduction
​

I am suggesting Auto Sort Bank Inventory so sorting our bank inventory would not take forever like it would if you do it manually. I remember sorting my bank inventory manually. It was very frustrating because it took me FOREVER to keep my bank organized. Because it took forever, I just stopped organizing my inventory. Still, I am also having trouble finding items.

Spot for The Button
​

There is 1 empty space under the 2 arrows and above the "Dump all items (except hotbar)" chest. It's a good spot to put one more button. And that button could be "Sort Bank".

Function
​

The Auto Sort button's functions can be putting the items in one area then putting another type of item into the next area.
When you press the "Sort Bank Page" button.

Sorting can sort it from A-Z and from Common - Fabled Items
You can sort it in 3+ different ways.
Option 1: Alphabetically
Option 2: Rarity
Option 3: Level
Possible more options soon too.

Sorting can only happen on the selected bank that you are on.
+ When you click the [SORT] button, it would give you a prompt saying "Are you sure you would like to sort this page of your bank?" [YES] [NO]

Example:

• Crafting Items (Wheat Grains, Wood Plank, Paper, etc.), can be in one group in your bank inventory.
• Crafting Ingredients (Rotten Flesh, Bob's Tear, etc.), can be in another group in your bank inventory.
• Weapons
• Armor (Armour)
• Emeralds
• And more.

Pretty much the same functions as the mods "Inventory Tweaks" or "Inventory Sorting" but Wynncraft style.

Benefits​

• Saves LOADS of time from sorting your bank.
• It can help those (such as myself) who are not good at organization skills.

Make an optional Minecraft mod (Fabric AND Forge for the versions Wynncraft CURRENTLY supports (As of 04/12/2020, MC-1.9 - MC-1.15.2 [About to be upped to 1.16.x]))
OR allow the mod Inventory Tweaks (1.12.2 Forge (Discontinued) but creator of the mod gave the whole script out to the public to recreate it on 1.13+) to be used and compatible with Wynncraft features.



This idea can save the millions of people's lives from wasting their life.
So save people from wasting their lives sorting their bank manually.

Maybe with some tweaks; this just sounds like a button I'll accidentally click that'll mess up the order of my bank. If you could do selected pages, that might be more useful.

It seems like a great idea!
It takes me about 2 minutes to find my powders and quest required items so that I can actually do stuff!
Please make this now or my brain cells will die.

 

Tip: There is a search bar option where you can find an item in your bank by typing its name. But yeah. I too would like this suggestion.

All I want in my life is a bank where I can auto-stack items which are already inside my bank. Like if I have powders in my bank for example, and I have about 23 different powders in my inventory, just give me a button to click which will put all 23 powders (provided one of each are already in my bank) into the stacks.

 

I am for it on ONE condition. I do not want to be able to accidentally click it and then have it sort my bank when I don't want it to. I would want it to give me a prompt where I would have to type the preset I want it sorted to before it would take effect.

 

You're seeming to be pushy about this.

The first bank page has all of its slots full, so this would be unusable in the first bank page.

Nobody wants a common-fabled or an a-z sorting really. Believe me.

Even if they are sorted (according to alphabetical order) it would still be very messy. Such as teleport scrolls; Selchar teleportation scroll would be at the end of the list, while Lutho teleportation scroll at the middle, Ahmsord teleportation scroll at the beginning.
I believe people look for convenient areas to group items of the similar kind and rather not the alpabetical priority. (The same with materials; wheat grains at the end, barley grains at the start of the list)

It does save time, just not loads imo. Like I said it's still messy when you're sorting it alphabetically, maybe even worse than before, so I'd say it saves a little bit of time since it is grouping the same items together (which if you think about it... Do you not shift click when you're putting items in the bank?)

I'd love a bank sorting system but it seems a little bit unrealistic (and unhelpful) with these requirements. It should have different categories like Armor (divided up in the four pieces), and the same for weapons and accessories... Maybe if there were certain presets like an 'ideally organised bank' which it would then automatically follow? No clue :P Nice idea though! :D

Sound like a good idea, and it wouldn't impact how the bank work currently, just a QoL patch.

I wonder how the sorting would attempt to sort some of my special items, LOL

Wouldn't it be better to sort by level or tier instead of alphabetically or by rarity? I try to keep the massive amount of ingredients in my bank sorted by level so I could find them easier (but it doesn't usually stay that way, so I would love a sort button).

 

I don't really agree with this, people sort their banks in different ways. Some people might accidentally click it and ruin their order. It would be better to add more options to edit banks making it easier to sort it yourself. Plus, it could be even messier, have scrolls, weapons, and random stuff in alphabetical order. It’ll not too much of a hassle to just do it yourself somewhat. It could be as simple as just make a page for gear. It is not too hard to sort the items yourself. It would be a huge hassle to implement, think about it. If youre a well geared up player, you have thousands of items in your bank, and it would be hard to make so that none of those items get lost/desynced when sorting, especially with the possibility that lots of people would sort their bank on a server at one time. It would be a huge drama of "wynncraft no refund policy lol" and "eye want my itemz buck you filthy adminz". So no.

You guys don't HAVE to press the Auto sort button. It can be only optional. It's like you guys are saying that you'll absolutely HAVE to press the auto sort button. It won't auto sort unless you press the button, this would be similar to the Inventory Tweaks mod.
