World Auctions

there should be auctions on the world so we don't have to go to the forums every single time.

 

I think that it might be a neat idea to add.

While reading this, I thought of some server-wide (not global) message that says
what item it is with what starting bid. If you might want to participate you could
use some new command to bid a price.

If you don't want the item the chat doesn't show something about it to you
so that you can continue without any further interruption with your doings.

The only problems I could see with that are, that it might be hard to participate
at different auctions at the same time, also that at some servers (e.g. Server 1)
you might have to face a lot of auctions.

Some limitation could help here, for example some message notify radius or
that you could in-game tell the server what item you are looking for exactly
so it could imform you if there is an auction going on for that item
(Using the last method you could also make the whole thing global) :)

Anyway, some specification of the suggestion is needed here ;)

There is already auctions.... It is called go to server 1, go to deltas..

 

Um simple logic player + shout outs = auction

Its not rocket science.

 

If there were auctions forums would lose lots of activity. Use the Forums for that!

 

Ok but only let one auction go on at a time so the forums would still be active.
