If you know the probability, you do not know the outcome, you know the possible outcomes. Just because the probability shows that, on a 1000000 sided die, that the chances of getting a 1 on the first try are very slim doesn't mean that it won't happen... sure its a very slim chance, but it is possible. Of course, the other possibility is that you don't roll the 1, but again, knowing the probability doesn't mean you know the outcome.

Well then mind explaining how if there really is a 1 in a million chance of a mythic dropping we already got about 50?

Salted said you have 1 in a million of getting a mythic, so that means he is stating that the chances of any mythic dropping is 1 in a million. It doesn't matter if there is 25, 16, or even 2 mythic items the fact still stays the same that Salted is telling people that mythics are 1 in a million. Also if you get 40,000 drops you are not guaranteed a mythic. Your math is so flawed and so unbelievably stupid it hurts. Lets say there is a lottery, and there are 10 prizes. Everyone's probability is 1 in a million, just because there are 10 prized your chances of getting a prize does not go up by 10 it is still 1 million.

No, but the die is rolled multiple times and, due to it being rolled multiple times the average can be found. Lets make a game, a man must roll 2 dice, and if he gets a total of 9 or higher he gets 10$; however, the fee to play every time is 7$. We can average the amount of times the man would lose and win and chances are that he would lose more money than gain.
