Attack Effects on Assassin

I have unlocked many different attack effects on my assassin class but when I equip them I have no idea if they are actually working or not because I just can't see them.

No it isn't my settings they are all pretty much max lol.

So do attack effects work by:

• showing an effect when I swing my sword?
• showing a trail when I throw my smoke bomb?
• showing an effect after killing an enemy?
• or anything else.

Regarding your question, attack effects seemed to have broken for a lot of classes as of 2.0 so unfortunately as of now there is no fix for it, you'll just have to wait to see if it gets resolved in a future hotfix/patch
