Are Quest Items Refundable Upon Death?

I heard somewhere that quest items are refundable, but i'm not exactly sure if they are refundable upon death. Are they?

And, if you lose a quest item that is a piece of armor or a weapon and you don't necessarily need it for another quest, is it still refundable?

 

If you're missing any items with the Quest Item tag on them, do /fixquests to get them back.

 

Certain quest items that can be sold, like some armor, will not be replaced by /fixquests. If that were to happen, you would have an easy scam for LEs. Other than that, as awemanrank100 said, /fixquests will replace most lost quest items. As to being refundable, I think that you meant replaceable, didn't you?

 

Quest items dont drop on death.
Untradeable items I'm not sure about.

 

You can drop untradables so I'm pretty sure they drop on death.

 

I tested it with my Mummy's Rag, and it was still in my inventory after my death with 0 soul points.

 

Anything with a Quest Item-tag must be kept, which regular item rewards do not have. Therefore, any and all items with the Quest Item-tag are replaceable.
