Are Minimaps Generally Allowed?

I read the rules page, but I'm not sure what would be considered an advantage. For example, I use the Wynncraft modpack through the Twitch launcher. That has some features that are really useful, like highlighting allies and such. I was told that some minimap mods allow you to see the location of other players which could prove somewhat cheaty in pvp. I don't play pvp whatsoever, and if Rei's for example had that feature I'd just disable. Anyone want to weigh in? I'd rather not install a mod only to get banned if it did violate the rules.

A minimap should comply with the rules if it doesn't have an entity radar.

No entities (including players other than you, I believe), and no caves.
