That's more of a reason to not post this, really; if you don't know how long something's been around, it's probably best to search for it before asking questions.

That... that changes nothing? I knew you were answering him. It was just a rebuttal, whether or not you answered the thread wasn't part of my post.

Whatever the case, we really should have some notice about reposting threads, or a warning to search the forums and ask the shoutbox before posting about discoveries.

 

Even if that is done there will still be a lot of peoples posting without looking.

It will only make peoples be even more rude with peoples who post that type of thing.

 

It will at least stop some posts. It will also allow people to just point towards that post instead of being rude, though there will always be those who are anyway. It won't stop all posts, but that's a different issue.

Yes this has been posted already and yes it can get annoying if something gets posted multiple times, BUT there is no reason to be rude.

I like how you still think this was not against the rules.
15. Being passive aggressive or flat out rude to people.
(Posting "who cares", posting the easter egg song, excessively insulting/making fun of someone, etc.)
It may have been a joke, but that's one of the reasons for that rule.
If you see that kind of stuff from other members feel free to tell them to stop it.
Honestly @Aarontti's @Bloodarchmage's and @HardBoiledYoshi's posts (and some others I deleted) were not really better, but that doesn't change your comment either.

However @AndyE7 in future please search for duplicates first. You're able to see what this causes.
