Bees tend to be scared of large creatures who their stinging is relatively ineffective against, as well as creatures who destroy their hives. What kind of creature would destroy a beehive and make the roar you heard...?

 

I was sort of going to illusion up something to get the bees running away from us, but thanks for that anyway.

For now, I'll just wait. I only have 1 spell slot left, after all.

 

The bees are running away from whatever made that roar. That much is obvious.

I'm wondering why Niryes isn't casting Cure Wounds on himself (literally 1 HP left after the bee stings), but okay.

 

I'll slowly climb as high into the trees as I can as silently as possible, ok? As long as the Wolverine/Honeybadger/Bear/Dragon/Dire Variants of the aforementioned/ whatever doesn't notice me I should be fine
