The mage bandit looks at the leader's corpse.
Mage: "...I surrender."
Dwarf: "What? You idiot!"
Mage: "What, do you want to die too?"

Knaal: "Surrender dwarf!"
Intimidation: 6-1=5

Okay I'm sure that failed.
I attack the dwarf unless he surrenders.
To hit: 7+4=11
Damage if it hits: 5+3+3+1= 12 damage.

 

Dwarf: "Hah!"
Dwarf: "You think that you can kill m-"
You swing your axe at him mid-sentence, but he narrowly dodges.
Dwarf: "-e? You're a daft one!"

He attaxes Knaal with his axe.
Attack Roll: 3 + IDK = miss

Luneth keeps hiding.

The new bandit dashes into the melee with the dwarf.

Erevan continues hiding but is ready with Fire Bolt in case they hurt Knaal much more.

 

@HMTN Niryes' turn.

 

I'm just going to note here that I gave Knaal a bardic inspiration die. Pretty sure it's still usable.
Oh, and before my action, why exactly are we fighting? By the time I irl wake up, everyone's already deep in battle and I just go along with it.

 

Because Knaal and Erevan started shooting the bandits, and the bandits fought back.

Fueled by the unmatchable powers of a migraine, it's time to make a persuasion check.

Niryes: "Knaal! Erevan! There's nothing to do here and you guys need to stay alive. Fall back already! Bandits, I apologize for these idiots, seeing as the team that's inevitably going to slaughter you all clearly isn't this one. I'm disappointed in everyone standing here. Pack up and go home already!"

To be fair, this wasn't meant to be a combat encounter.

Dwarf: "Look, those idiots killed our leader! We can't just let them live!"
The mage shakes his head in disappointment and casts Expeditious Retreat, fleeing into the forest.
Bandit: "They've already been slaughtering us all!"
Bandit Rogue: "...Wait, what?"

 

So what happens?? Are we still fighting?

OOC Erevan: ”This is all Knaal’s fault... (and mine I guess) we should have hid.”
