You recognize one of the remaining books as a forbidden occult tome, detailing various dark rituals related to mind control and summoning, and past practitioners of those rituals.

Erevan: ”Ah!”
I take a step back.
Then I slowly go back to the bookshelf and pick up the book. I look though it, what’s in it?
Oh and also what’s the name of the book?

 

Elzen: "What's with that book?"

 

Erevan: ”It’s forbidden knowledge. We should probably bring this back with us to the Arcaneum.”

 

"What kind of knowledge? It may help tell us what we're dealing with."

 

Erevan: "I am looking through it. I suspect this book has something to do with that bear we killed."

 

The book is titled "The Madnesses of Beyond".

Anything that looks like what happened to the bear?

Anything in the book that looks like instructions for anything that is supposed to generate a similar result to that of the bear

But really, @Tezzeret can you just give us a reason for why you never respond to this?
Like, if you’ve gotten bored, fine, but just say so.

 

You find quite a few rituals that could theoretically have some sort of similar effect, but if you're looking for one that specifically matches up, roll me a Perception check.

I've been rather stressed recently, generally just lazy, and I've personally lost a lot of my interest in this campaign and setting. I'm okay continuing it if you want, though.

All of those reasons are completely fine, and I just wanted to know why you didn't reply.
We need not continue this if you don't want to - after all, a campaign would not work out if the DM isn't interestd.
If you do think you can continue, I'd of course like to, but that would require more frequent answers and if you don't feel like going on, don't.

 

So are we continuing or are we killing this?

 

I'd love to continue on but if Tezzeret doesn't want to it wouldn't feel fair to me to force them to keep going.
