Another Dungeons & Dragons Campaign (6/6 Players)

Niryes leans back, surveying the corpse.
"Wonderful. Shame I won't be able to do it again today, but wonderful."

He rummages in his stuff for a moment, grabbing a knife and some jerky form his rations.
The knife gets strapped to his waist, the jerky gets eaten, and he grabs his stuff. Follow the group.
"Shall I play a jaunty tune? Alert the entire cave? It'll be quite fun, don't you think?"

 

Erevan - off-handedly- makes a silencing gesture

 

Elzen: "No, are you insane?"

 

Niryes: "See, when somebody sets up a situation and then subverts the expectation, it's usually called this cool thing: A joke. They're extremely subjective, but in this particular scene I was suggesting something clearly mad as to break up the monotony of your creepy warlock...ing. Serisously, did you think I didn't notice? Everyone around me's selling their soul all of a sudden..."

 

"Now's not the time for jokes."

 

Erevan: ”Indeed. We need to find this chamber.”
@Tezzeret what is in the tunnel?

 

The tunnel continues forward, sloping down more and more, until it eventually becomes a straight vertical chute.

 

Elzen drops a stone down the chute to see how deep it is

 

Can we see the bottom?

 

It's about twenty feet deep.

 

Erevan: ”Does anyone have anything that could scout down there?”

 

Would Elzen be able to hammer a piton into the wall to hang a rope off that we could climb down without it falling?

 

Do you present that as a suggestion?

 

Am asking DM whether that would be possible

Maybe, but the stone is solid enough that you'd need a good Strength score. Good thing you have Knaal with you!

 

It seems alerts have broken once more. Anyways, back to the campaign.

Lycan: "While I don't have anything that can scout for us, I can provide a small... blessing of sorts to assist some other person in the stealthier aspects of such. "

-starts internally debating over whether or not he should be the one scouting

 

Elzen gets out a piton and a hammer, he then asks Knaal "Could you hammer this into the wall?" and offers him the hammer and piton

You solidly plant the piton into the cave wall.
