Liun goes into the other tunnel

 

Erevan follows.
- Apparently alerts broke here ;-;

 

The tunnel continues around a corner, but your motion stops when you hear a strange, muffled growl.

Spoiler: Liun Only

The cry sounds almost pained, and it reminds you of something, although you're not sure what.

 

Can I hear where the growl is coming from?

 

Erevan sets up the reaction:
If anything attacks anyone he will Eldritch Blast it.

Erevan summons a writhing mass of energy, twisting around his hands, ready to attack.

 

As I see you do that I say "whatever is growing sounds to be in pain"

 

Further down the tunnel.

You'll have disadvantage on the attack roll due to crawling.

 

Erevan: "Okay... I'll still be ready if it attacks first."

Okay.

- The energy is twisting around Erevan's whole body, due to his hands being busy.

Ahead, the passage leads to an odd room. On one side, a bear like the ones you saw in the forest is chained to the wall with rusty steel, behind an old metal fence of similar quality to the one in the entrance. This fence also has some amount of damage, including several spikes and part of the side being loose and almost torn out of the earth. This growling beast looks different, though; It has what appears to be a sunken third eye in its forehead, with a purple stain spreading out from that and covering parts of its head and body. It also has much of its fur shredded, and the crest above its head is entirely burnt off. A thin, watery channel that seems to be manmade leads away from the bear's prison.
