Because the cause of it happening was me climbing onto myself. If the cause is impossible the result also is.

Correction: You trying to climb onto yourself. If you're pretty much trying to hurt yourself, I won't stop you.

 

Elzen sighs and says: "Knaal also has to get over. Let's get some rocks to build a small ramp", crawls back through the passageway and grabs rocks from around the cave, takes them back and builds a ramp (repeat as many times as needed until the ramp is high enough to get over the fence)

...That sounds like it would take a while, and be rather complicated.

 

It might take a while but Elzen's only really creating a pile of rocks high enough to be able to jump over a 1.5m fence, it only needs to be 0.75-1m really, shouldn't be that complicated.

Actually considering that the highest jump done by a human is 2.45m would Knaal be able to do a high jump to get over the fence?

 

You'll still need to be careful about touching the fence, but okay.

Two main problems with that:
1. The gap between the fence top and the ceiling is fairly small, and Knaal is tall even by elven standards.
2. Getting a decent jump in a cave this cramped is difficult, especially when the fence will magically blast you if you touch it.

 

Sorry for doing the day-long equivalent of spacing out, but are we assuming I already jumped? (19-1 = 18, for the roll)

 

Good points, would Elzen and Knaal be able to jump forwards (we'll end up parallel to the ceiling after going up first) off a pile of rocks and then have the others on the other side of the fence catch us? To get rid of the hit your head on the ceiling issue?

Elzen asks Knaal: "I could jump over using you but then you'd be stuck here, any ideas for how to get us over?"
