No. Its speed and climb speed are both only 30 feet per round.

Valtash: "Hello."

 

Erevan: "Hi, we forgot that we were supposed to find a sword that belongs to Illia here."
Erevan gestures at Illia.

 

Val'tash: "A sword?"
Val'tash: "Come to think of it, I did see something odd over in my sanctum."

 

Knaal:"Hello"

I put up the reaction: "If Illia threatens or attacks Valtash I hit attack her with my axe."

 

Elzen: "Hello, who are you?"

 

Erevan: ”Could you show us?”

 

Val'tash: "My name is Val'tash."
Val'tash: "I'm... a hermit, living in this old mineshaft."

Val'tash leads you to the end area of the cave.
