These aren't the same bears. Well, they're the same type of animal, but these are different individual bears. Also, you can see where they are.

 

Elzen says to everyone(calls over to Liun but not loudly to not disturb the bear more), "Guys this type of bear is a smaller version of a true neutral beast, they will probably leave us alone if we leave them alone; one of the same species also helped us kill the displacer beast. Retreating might be a good idea here as I don't want to anger the beast that they are smaller versions of which could happen if we kill them. If we don't do something agressive like yell at it" and gives Knaal a pointed look, "they should hopefully leave us alone if we leave." He then tries to communicate to the closest(the one far from Liun) one that they don't want to attack it if they can avoid it. Animal handling: 11. He then starts to walk in the direction they(the group) came from slowly.

 

How do you do all that in six seconds?

 

The sentence that Elzen want to say could be said in less and his action is to try and communicate with the bears. Or am I missing something here?

 

How are you saying it quicker than that?

 

Can Elzen not? In that case he will say: "This is probably a true neutral beast, we can probably avoid a fight if we don't provoke it further; also there's a bigger version of it which I'd prefer not to anger." And still do the action if that's possible.

 

I tried saying that IRL. It took me 7 seconds, and I'm a fast talker. Even if I say it so fast to the point that it's almost incomprehensible, it still takes me 5 seconds. I'm okay with having that abridged version take your entire turn, though.

 

Would Elzen be able to ready an eldritch blast while doing so? With the condition of if something attacks him purposely he will blast it, if so to hit: 13+4=16, damage: 3+2=5

 

You're spending your entire turn talking. That includes your action, so you can't ready an action to cast Eldritch Blast.
