The houndmaster (now with 100% less hounds!) does another two-dagger attack, this time only at Guard 2.
Attack Roll 1: 19 + 3 = 22
Attack Roll 2: 12 + 3 = 15
Damage Roll 1: 1 + 1 = 2 piercing damage.
Damage Roll 2: 3 + 1 = 4 piercing damage.

Elzen readies Eldritch blast and will blast anyone that attacks him and says to the others "I can hear something in the distance, I'm going to investigate it." He also gets ready his quartersatff and walks towards the sounds.

He died so I guess Liun will use his turn to start looting

 

Guard 2 plants a solid spear thrust through the hound master's chest.

Since the battle is over, he goes to stabilize Guard 3.

Guard 2: "Thank you! We wouldn't have stood a chance without your help."

• The thugs only have daggers, leather armor, the face cover thingies, and coin purses with 1d6 copper pieces.
• The dogs have... dog meat? I guess?
• The houndmaster has two daggers, a hand crossbow, a case of crossbow bolts (including four with purple thread around the end), a coin pouch containing 7 SP and 4 CP, and leather armor.

After about a minute of walking, you find Liun and an armored city guard guy among what seems to be the remains of a battle. It ended just before you got here, seemingly. The battle had two other city guards, three thugs, two rabid dogs, and another guy as some of the corpses (although the guards are still breathing).

 

Elzen will try to help the guards with their injuries if they are seriously injured

Also the others are at the church but Knaal isn't responding when asked what the lady that gave you the task to go into the mine looks like, could you show us her? She probably wants the letters you guys found."

 

Liun:"Let me get my arrows back first"
I take a minute to retrieve half of the arrows

 

Elzen helps you retrieve the other half if that's not a special ability.

 

Well with bows you can after battle search the field for arrows no idea how it works if someone is helping me

 

Elzen has a shortbow so I assume that it works.

You might as well just join Elzen now and you can learn you number of arrows afterwards if the guards don't have anything else to say.
