A magic deck of cards would of been perfect for Lycan. Pity it was a deck of many things.

Lycan: “Interesting. Anyways, how much for the hat and ring?”

 

He literally said that he doesn't know for sure.

Elf: "Maybe, for the hat... 4 GP."
Elf: "And... two gold for the ring. I don't even know what it does."

I’ll hand him the 6 GP and take the hat and ring.

I’ll wear my new hat and start walking towards the rest of the group.
Lycan (muttering to himself): “Alright, let’s see what this does...”
I’ll put on the ring and see if anything happens.

It's a relatively normal hat on your head. You remember wearing ones like this in your past.

The ring is heavy and slightly uncomfortable, but the weight feels oddly warm and tugs on something within you. You feel like you could do something with that...
