Traversing through the city (everyone has woken up by now), everyone is just a few streets away. You pass through a street, going by several closed-up buildings. A shadowy figure darts in a nearby alley.

You all hear a gasp from Elzen, and a voice coming from near him. There are three goblins. One is standing next to Erevan with two daggers out, one is over in an alley carrying a crossbow, and the last is grabbing Elzen and holding a dagger to his throat. The goblin holding Elzen speaks in a scratchy voice.
Goblin: "Give me your money and valuables, and I'll let your friend here life."

 

What are my chances at shooting the goblin next to Elzen before he cuts his throat?

 

Unlikely. The goblin has a readied action, but you could try something with stealth...
