Lycan : Well then, now that that’s done with, I’ll suggest we find somewhere to rest for the night. You all could stay the night at my residence, I was heading over there with Elzen in the first place.

 

Everyone gets both of those.

Elzen says: "Lycan was very dodgy when I'd just met him. I'm not sure what he's up to but be careful." Telepathically to you(note this is only a one way connection)

Elzen will follow Lycan if he starts walking.

Also Elzen says "You said that the god that you worshipped was complicated, you can tell us on the way there." To Lycan.

Telepathy Erevan: ”Huh. Elzen, by this I assume you have made a pact with a Great Old One? Might you tell me more about your patron? I discovered mine was not suitable for my services.”

 

Knaal:"Alright what do we do now? Do we rest or continue going after luneth?"

 

Liun is unconscious on the floor and is starting to take a long rest (I just realized that I'm on like 3 exhaustion from all the times I've been knocked unconscious)

Telepathy to you: "I made a pact with a great old one. Their name is Vlaakith, I can do pretty much whatever I want as long as mind flayers aren't involved. What happened with your patron though?"

Elzen will use his researcher feature to know where he would find more info about mind flayers

Elzen says: ''If we're going to leave we'll need to make a stretcher for Liun or carry him some other way."

 

Knaal:"I'll carry him if we continue."

Erevan: ”Well, what a coincidence. My patron went by the name of The Elder Brain. It promised me truths about the world. It wanted to build a new world based upon the truth an the mind. At the time, I was drawn into it but my friends helped me to realize that this was not what I was. Though I still have a reminder from it.” Erevan brushes his hairline away to reveal a bluish purple eye in the middle of his forehead.

Elzen is surprised by the eye and asks: "How long have you had that and do you know of any way to get rid of it?"

Erevan: ”I’ve had it since I was contacted by the Elder Brain in my sleep earlier in this cave. Val’tash; a former Warlock of the Brain says the only way to get rid of it and close my connection completely is to kill the Elder Brain.
Although I must say she fared more ill from her pact. Her right arm was replaced by a tentacle.”

 

I guess I’ll start walking when everyone’s ready to leave.

So, is everyone leaving? If so, I don't see why Lycan or (possibly) Elzen would be going with the group. Do they know about the objective and situation?

Elzen: "Hopefully we can manage that, what else have you gotten up to after the shopwreck. Also who are the other members of your party and how did you meet them?"

Erevan: "I met them in a bar, apparently they killed some cult living in the cellar. We met Luneth, who is or was a part of a criminal group called the Redbrands. I don't know too much about her though. Liun is a Ranger, Niryes who is unconscious is a Bard and Knaal is a Fighter. We had another companion but he vanished in the forest. We tried to fight the bear, but it ran away. Then we got down here to look for a murderer. We met Val'tash and her spiders, then fought an Aarakocra named Aakalak."

Elzen: "Did you get any interesting texts along the way? Also are you trying to accomplish anything together or are you just traveling together?"

Erevan: "As a matter of fact, we did. It's in some weird language. I'm mostly just travelling with them, but we are going to the town to interpret the scroll."
OOC Rulebook Erevan: "You are aware, that Metagaming (Using information from outside the in-game world - or before you were part of the game - or just using information your character should not have access to, like our finding of the scroll) is prohibited in this campaign."
