What does the amulet look like btw?

It's a symbol of Aziraal, God of Fire, whose worship is outlawed in Kaelar.

The amulet is a simple, tarnished golden circle on a chain with the bonfire painted on.

 

Knaal:"This amulet has a symbol of Aziraal, the god of fire. Worshipping him is illigal in Kaelar. It isn't really magical but it can be used for some to cast spells."

 

Liun:"So they're pretty much cultists, Well I won't be needing the necklace. As for what to do now we have two options, we either follow the robed guy or we go back and see if we missed anything in the celler. In my opinion we should put it to a vote"

 

Knaal:"I say we follow the robed guy, if we come across any other cultists make sure to kill the mages first."

 

Liun:"What about everyone else?"

 

"Oh, I'll take it."

 

Liun:''Sure not like i have any use for it'' I toss him the necklace "So what do you say go after the robed gur or go back?''

 

Althea: "I would sayst thee make haste onward. Thee have nary a lead otherwise, and I would nay return empty-handed."

I start heading the direction the cultist ran and keep an eye out

Yeah, I think that's how it works. I'm not a Mystic expert, though.

As for the perception checks:
Both of you just get boring stuff. Rocks, dirt, torches, the like.

 

with my role does it really matter? anyways any hidden caverns, ambushes, stuff like that

That's not how stealth works. You don't "go into stealth mode", you roll Stealth when you are actively sneaking (like trying to sneak up on a cultist).
