    The blast hits the beast, but it still isn't fazed.

    With a wild, snarling hiss, the displacer beast leaps at Liun, stabbing him with a tentacle.
    Attack Roll: 14 + 6 = 20
    Damage Roll: 4 + 6 + 4 = 14 piercing damage.
    Bounding over him, it stabs him with its other tentacle.
    Attack Roll: 15 + 6 = 21
    Damage Roll: 1 + 4 + 4 = 9 piercing damage.
    Impaled through the chest, the displacer beast retracts its tentacle fast as lightning, and Liun crumples to the ground. It then shakes, creating its illusionary double once more, as it bounds forward and hisses a challenge.

    I shoot the Displacer beast.
    To hit: 12+2+3=17
    Damage: 4+3=7
    I also move back a little, not out of his range I don't want to get oppurtunity attacked.
    Btw, why are you so obsessed with paragon monsters?

    You shoot an arrow at the displacer beast, hitting it in the leg. The illusionary copy fades.

    Because it makes solo monsters more interesting and not die instantly.

    @HMTN, remember that it just downed Liun from almost full health. Charging into melee might not be the best idea.
