I just wrote diss track generator and it was the first thing that popped up

 

So, are you leaving the cave to try and track her?

 

Yup before I go I say
Liun:"I'll try to check out where Luneth went, if im not back in the next 10 minutes I'll meet you on the way" I go to the last place where I saw Luneth

 

You last saw her in the cave where you took a rest. One section of the wall towards the exit is partially collapsed, and a bit of gray thread is caught on it.

 

I try to see if there's anything further in the cave that might give a hit where she went

 

The cave layout is quite linear, and unless she jumped in the water, the only way she could have gone is out into the forest.

 

Well then I head to the entrance of the cave while keeping my guard and and try to avoid anything that might have appeared

 

Knaal goes after Liun.

 

You pass by the corpses of two giant spiders and reach the entrance, which doesn't look too different from before.

You find Liun in the mineshaft entrance, looking around.

 

Do Erevan and Niryes follow, I don't want to lose my rope.

 

I try to find tracks from the cave that may be Luneths

 

Outside the cave, it's late at night (about 11 PM) and raining. The environment is about the same.

 

Can I role a surival check to see if I find any tracks
Also does forest being my favorite terrain give me any benefits?

 

Make it with disadvantage. The weather makes tracking difficult, and Luneth has a large head start.

Favored Terrain isn't actually a thing in 5E, as far as I know of, and humanoids like Luneth aren't your favored enemy.

I just checked on roll20 and it has a different name It's called Natural Explorer here's what it says

You are particularly familiar with one type of natural Environmentand are adept at traveling and surviving in such regions. Choose one type of favored terrain: arctic, coast, desert, forest, grassland, mountain, swamp, or The Underdark. When you make an Intelligence or Wisdom check related to your favored terrain, your proficiency bonus is doubled if you are using a skill that you're proficient in.

While traveling for an hour or more in your favored terrain, you gain the following benefits:

• Difficult terrain doesn't slow your group's travel.
• Your group can't become lost except by magical means.
• Even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling (such as foraging, navigating, or tracking), you remain alert to danger.
• If you are traveling alone, you can move stealthily at a normal pace.
• When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
• While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.

You choose additional favored terrain types at 6th and 10th level.

So my proficiency mod is dobled if im tracking
So
Nat 20 and 10+6=16
So 16

 

You search for some time, but you can't find any traces of Luneth unless you're willing to take several hours.

 

Well we aren't in a hurry to go so sure I'll take some time

 

At about 1 A.M., you find a barely visible footstep in a puddle of mud. It doesn't look like your boots.

 

I think to myself:"now im getting somewhere" I look for other footsteps like this one
