Sure. Gust of Wind is a Concentration spell, so it slows down to a light breeze before stopping entirely over the course of about twelve seconds.

Btw, you haven’t told me to roll on the Wild Magic Surge table yet and it was quite a long time ago that I used Tides of Chaos.

When did you use Tides of Chaos? Also, it recharges automatically on a long rest.

My policy for Wild Magic sorcerers is that using Tides of Chaos causes you to have a chance of triggering a surge on every spell until it recharges.
