They seem to be talking about the "Elder Brain" Val'tash mentioned earlier and its plans. Apparently, it's trying to create a new empire. Erevan thinks the empire will be a good thing, while Val'tash thinks it will be bad.

 

Can i make an insight check to see which of them seems to be telling the truth?

Are you really sure? You really think that the creature called an Elder Brain that contacts you in your dreams, curses people with tentacles, and wants to take over the world is trustworthy?

 

Well, Erevan wants knowledge and the Brain has given it to him (right?). Besides, he’s already made the deal. The tentacle part though, he is a bit scared of, but trusts it won’t happen.

 

Maybe.

He has made the deal, but it's not as if he's actually bound to follow the brain's orders. Seriously. I have an actual mechanic for that.
