Are you going down the shaft? It's 5 feet wide and 20 feet deep. A pile of rotten wood is at the bottom, and two iron nails stick out near the top. This seems to be the former location of a ladder.

 

"Does anybody have rope to get down?"

 

Liun:"I do" I pull out my rope and tie tothe most sturdiest loking thing I'll make a perception check to see what I find

Two nails sticks out from the top of the shaft, but they're rather rusted. There's also a piece of timber hanging out from above the shaft.

Using Liun's rope, you climb down into a webbed room at the beginning of a tunnel. Roots of all sizes, some as thick as your arm, others clustered like greasy wet hair begin to gradually crowd the passage ahead. Walking is tough on the soft, slippery plant roots. A thick mist creeps low to the ground, blown into swirls and eddies by a cool, light breeze from somewhere deep in the mineshaft. The glowing fungi support some weak leafy vines that carpet the walls and rocks overhead.

 

"Okay guys it's safe, you can come down."
