Another Dungeons & Dragons Campaign (6/6 Players)

1. I don't like giving darkvision to everyone under the sun. Literally. Why would creatures who generally have sunlight anyway need darkvision?
2. It makes no sense for elves to have it. They spend about as much time with sunlight as humans, who don't. What would elves use it for?

 

Because elves are the most balanced race.
