You may have noticed there hasn't really been much of an update (apart from some teasers) about the next update. That's because it turns out it's a terrible idea for me to inform people what we're working on - as it creates a solid expectation of the next update and as those sorts of threads were posted way in advance of the development it doesn't account for change at all.

That's what has happened to this update, the tone, direction and workflow drastically changed course from it's original goal. This is a real bummer not only for you, but for us as well - We sunk many hours into building and developing this area but unfortunately it looks like it will have to wait for a future one.

I've learnt not to say too much about the upcoming updates for fear of this exact situation but basically the update has changed fundamentally and the workload of RTD being included was too much to add. I won't say more about what's to come but we all at the content team really hope you will enjoy it. We still have a way to go yet so don't take away from this thread that an update is imminent we still don't know exactly how long until we finish but we have made really decent progress on things.

Since I can't show you what we're currently working on, here are some images of what we made in RTD so you can see what was made and how difficult it was to bench this area for a little while. We always like to bite off more than we can chew.

Yep! Pretty dark and cool stuff. I would love to also take this opportunity to say that it's wise to take these updates with no expectations and just try to enjoy what we put out because the CT work very hard for everyone's benefit and it doesn't help if you get upset that a quest you were hoping for doesn't get put in for example.
