This seems to be written by a Dogun Historykeeper following the end of hostilities between Dwarves and Doguns. The document is written entirely in Dogun language, which was translated by Korzim to human language a few months after it was written - an effort Korzim himself describes as "excruciatingly long". Unlike other Dogun tablets, this one seems to be written from an objective point of view. It was donated to Llevigar Library some time in 1001 AP, part of the transcribed tablet can be seen below:

...Even among the Doguns, a few of them are considered "ancient" - beings of living rock and magma who have survived for millennia, protecting and nurturing the Heights for far longer than anyone has ever lived. With the suppression of their race in the Dwarven "Demon War", the ancients went into hiding, to protect themselves from being hunted down by a race of intruders. Where they possessed ancient magic to move the mountains and shape the world, the dwarves possessed ingenuity and willpower, as well as strength in numbers, outnumbering the Doguns nearly a hundred to one. In time, the numbers of the Doguns dwindled, and while many of them were deactivated by turning them to stone, many more fled or went into hiding.

Paku, in particular, recalls a very ancient Dogun who was shunned for his ability to shape metal to states metalworkers can only dream to achieve. While his kin shaped the mountains above them to suit their needs, to provide them - he carved the shining ore beneath their surface to exotic forms nobody could've ever seen. He was a hermit among the survivors, and he had a considerably different appearance compared to his brethren - his magic was too weak and stunted to shape massive amounts of landmass above and below him, giving his inner core a deep, scarlet appearance, as opposed to the brilliant orange color most Doguns possess. In addition, his outer skin was not mere rock and soil, but an encrusted mail that was far more effective at protecting him from physical attacks, thanks to the resilient minerals within. His metalworking ability was second to none, for he was simply able to shape any metallic object he looked at into something else that he desired. Usually, he kept to himself and refused to create any weapons at all, and in many cases he built simple devices that he could entertain his failing mood, or to improve his awareness of his surroundings, even though he had buried himself deep within the Heights to go unnoticed.

Very few Doguns, besides Paku, knew of this person. The sole example, the only living person from Ancient Gavel, who lived to tell the tales of his brethren from a simpler time. So great, that the artificers who found his handiwork, discarded and buried deep within the mountain range that became the Canyon of the Lost, named the metal alloy he had (unwittingly) created after him. So great, that the metal he had worked became priceless artifacts - objects to die for, if only to admire their immortal beauty. A metalworker that nobody in the world ever saw, but everyone who saw his work firsthand would know by heart.

    And his name was Uru.
