World Anarchy

This thread is inspired by the rebellious Ragni guards who murder the innocent.

I think there should either be regular periods or events where the guards of towns become hostile.
I'll just leave it at that, because when I try to be creative, bad things happen.

All of you wonderful people can add onto this down there in ye' old comments ;)

 

I don't think people who AFK in towns would like that.

 

This would turn any town with guards and such into Nemrekt.

 

Honestly this is a interesting idea, However it prevents AFK people, So maybe alerts saying, "The taxes rose again, The citizens grow angry, Rumors of Anarchy in 23 hours 57 minutes and 13 seconds are around"
And
ANARCHY IS ACTIVE, The guards are slaughtering everyone.

 

So basically,

"Screw you you can't be safe and you can't take a short break so die you lazy bum"

 

Perhaps it should be like a swarm thing or something, where gaurds will spawn in and attack you, and you can get some exp and emeralds from them or something. (Swarm?)

There should be warnings before it starts, maybe something along the lines of "it looks like the citizens are starting to riot."

It'd also be cool if the guards could drop very rare sets of armor relevant to the town that they're in that give cool little effects.

This could be a cool idea, but I think outside of towns are for the monsters. I dont know!

 

Maybe Wynncraft should add an AFK mechanism that if someone doesn't move for more than 5-10 minutes, then they can't get attacked by anything. This would be a pretty good idea if that happened.

 

Gonna have to agree with this. This defeats the purpose of being safe within a town. Plus, what is the story behind the guards attacking you? A mental disorder?

 

maybe to help not kill aft people, you would do a command to fight the rioters.

/riot defend, and stand in the city

or maybe you could get a bit creative with it...

/riot join

both sides could have soldiers and players fighting for them. So basically a revamp of guild wars, except they're events!

 

Or maybe just fix the guard glitch? I can't walk anywhere in Ragni without 2+ guards trying to deal 0 damage to me.
