Info An Update On The 1.17 Update

Then he said something about it being due 4-5 weeks after wynncon. And it's been well past that.

At this point i just want a update on the update, progress report if you will. Just to know if anythig got on the fritz (i was gone for awhile too due an overload of school work so i wouldn't know), if the estimate was too soon, etc.

Due as in the update's contence to be ready to be preped fkr the live server? Just builds? Something else?

 

Due means it would've been released then.

 

I'm guessing that at the time, it looked like the update was gonna be 4-5 weeks, but either something like a glitch/bug delayed it or they just weren't happy with what they had at the end of the 4-5 weeks. Either way, the finished update will be of the usual high standard as a result :) Although I still agree that a progress report would be nice xD

 

We've said on Discord that the update is being tested, don't worry. It's gonna be out until 2020!

What do you mean by it's being tested? Do you mean that you're finished and are looking for bugs?

 

you know what would be more helpful than getting memes in response when asking for updates on the server that we have spent time and money on? real responses with actual explanations as to why the update has been delayed and reassurance that these issues (which would be nice to actually know about rather than just being told. you know. memes) are in the process of being fixed. the lack of communication between the content team and the players seems absurd. it is obvious that it is an issue. maybe y’all should address it.

There really isn't much more that we can say other than we're still testing it and making sure what we have will work.

There were hiccups when we first started to try to test and there's still some things stopping us from being able to finish it now.

Either way, we are working on it and we are trying our hardest to make sure that it will be smoother than normal when it actually comes out.
I'm sorry that there hasn't been much about it, but I do not want to start teasing the update until I know and the team knows for sure that we can get it out shortly after.

In my personal opinion it was a mistake for Grian to say that, we should never give out a window like that unless it is going to be coming out that next week, unless something happens and we can't.

So what does this mean now? I don't want it to sound like im rushing or anything. But i'm confused. Is then next update 1.16 . ? A 1.17 or what. Have I missed something?

 

1.16 was Corkus. 1.17 will be the next major update.

 

If 1.17 is the update after the Corkus update, I think the Molten Heights update would be the 1.17.1 update
