Game Design An Irk I Have With The Loot Chest System

I understand there being a timer when you switch servers so you can't just claim IV after IV until your inventory is full of legendaries. But what really annoys me is that it resets even if you were kicked because the server was restarting. (/class resetting it is annoying as well, but it at least has reason)

Thoughts?

Well, switching a server and getting booted from a server both involve disconnecting...I don't think there's a way to distinguish.

 

1. Wtf is an irk
2. I agree that /class shouldn't reset the timer, but that's not that hard to distinguish from disconnecting

 

Something that annoys oneself.

 

As Selvut said there's no true way to distinguish if a server reset vs you just leaving. This won't be changed because of that, and if there was a method it would probably be much more work than it is worth.
