World An Interesting Way To Solve Hunted Toxoplasmosis?

    So, I was thinking about how toxoplasmosis gives shamans a monopoly over hunted mode and about interesting ways to solve that problem. I tried to see if it's possible to craft something with that kind of poison, but the best I got to (with reasonable durability) was 5k. Then I thought about it, and realized that there was no ingredient that helps that kind of low-damage high-poison play style. So, why not add some ingredient that has these kinds of stats? I'm thinking a 3-star ingredient that drops from a rare mob in toxic wastes with -30-40% melee damage, -300-400 raw melee damage, and +1000-2000/3s poison, and it can be used in weaponsmithing and woodworking. That way, toxoplasmosis stays at the top (the best you can do with reasonable durability is 6x any ingredient, so up to 12k poison with toxo doing up to 13k), while giving other classes a chance. This seems like a way to solve this problem that maintains toxo's value as a poison weapon without giving it a complete monopoly over it.

    EDIT: I understand that I didn't make this clear. This thread is supposed to be more of a discussion about an ingredient like this to encourage crafted poison builds and perhaps get ideas for other ingredients that are "missing" in a similar way and less of a discussion on how to solve the poison hunted issue. I'm sorry I didn't make this clear.

    The problem isn't that other classes don't have the ability to do poison damage, it's that it is basically an instant win if a player gets hit by it. Adding more things with the same broken ability doesn't fix the problem, it just makes it more common. While I wouldn't argue that a poison based crafting ingredient would be a bad idea, it wouldn't help balance out toxo's OHKO potential, expect by making pvp even more of a "oneshot or be oneshot" experience.

    Ik, and I totally agree that poison should be nerfed in pvp, I'm just saying that it occurred to me that toxo is by far the best poison weapon in the game and that no ingredients encourage poison playstyles; I guess I phrased that badly in my original post. I guess I got excited about the idea since it would give all classes a viable playstyle and could work to balance pvp in a pinch. But yeah, I used the wrong title in this case, this is more about encouraging crafted poison builds.

    I would like to see more niche builds supported by crafted items, because as it stands we have melee, spellspam and loot. And the first one really only applies to wearables.

    Here is a better way to solve the problem. Toxoplasmosis is fine for pvp the only problem is that there is no build to counter it as of rn. Therefore the best way to go about it is to buff the current
    health regen builds and change they way poison conducts iteself. This give most hunted mode players the option to stack health regen to counter the received damage from posion.
