Right now I feel like Adasaurs lack distinction from horses. Aside from having a higher step height, which, after a certain level in Handling, doesn't quite practically affect much after it in the step height department, Adasaurs are also slower.
What I propose is to have Adasaurs have a lesser base knockdown chance than horses, which would be the equivalent of having a higher Toughness than regular.
So, for example, if a 10 Toughness Adasaur and a 10 Toughness Horse get attacked, the Adasaur would be more likely to stay up than the horse, just innately.
Have Adasaurs attack nearby enemies, damaging them and knocking them back, as well as expending a bit of energy when it does. Damage would be based off of the mount's level, the player's DPS, or maybe the Toughness stat?
Obviously it wouldn't be able to constantly deal damage or have contact damage, so if you walk into a swarm of enemies it won't be completely invulnerable, but I think this might be a nice addition, because the patch notes did mention them being adept in combat.
When I mentioned Player DPS being a possible deciding factor, that was because it seems that as long as a character has done Burning Bonds and reached level 114, any other character can use Adasaurs. If they dealt damage based off the mount's level, then you could oneshot early-mid game bosses and enemies with ease on a brand new character, if you just bring an ocarina along with you. Tying the damage into the user's Damage Per Second (either main attack or spell, or even a mix of both) could be a decent mitigating factor, though the mount's level could also act as a sort of bonus to it, maybe as a percentage added on.
